S-Span Systems
Perhaps the most energy-efficient and versatile solution for your construction
project is the Behlen S-Span System. The tough, weather-proof roof and the
finished ceiling surface are joined together with diagonal struts that create
clear spans of up to 400 feet.
The Dubl-Panl system allows these wide spans while offering the option of
an attractive and functional cantilever. The Convex system,
accommodating spans of up to 200 feet, requires less material due to the
efficient shape of the arched roof... that means lower costs!
While the S-Span System offers excellent roof insulation and virtually airtight
construction, the heavy, durable panels stand up to weather and general abuse
better than frame construction.
Due to its clear span capability, the S-Span system is perfect for arenas,
hangers, practice fields or gymnasiums. A factory-painted ceiling provides a
great surface for indirect lighting in a flexible interior where columns and
site obstructions are undesirable.
